By on December 14th, 2011

HTC and T-Mobile have started rolling out a new software update for the T-Mobile Amaze 4G.For the unknown the Amaze 4G packs in a qHD (640×960) resolution screen, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor along with 1GB of RAM and an 8MP camera.

The update does not bring Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to the handset, which many users must be hoping for. The update only adds certain enhancements apart from fixing some bugs.  The software update carries the build number 1.43.531.3 and adds Wi-Fi calling and the latest version of Google Music.

Below is the full change-log of the update-:

New Features

  • IMS Wi-Fi Calling
  • Google Music
Improvements
  • Improvements to Bluetooth connection
  • Clock Widget Not Updating With Time Zone Change
  • Improvement To Twitter and Peep Application
  • Improved Wi-Fi Connection
The update is being rolled out in stages so Amaze 4G users should not expect to get the update immediately. Alternatively, Amaze 4G owners can also pull the update from HTC server by going to Settings-> About Phone -> HTC Software Updates and then selecting the Check Now option.
