On June 2nd, T-Mobile announced two new budget Android smartphones by Samsung – the Exhibit 4G and the Gravity Smart. However, they haven’t revealed when these new phones will be launched.
Today, thanks to a leaked document by TMONews, we now have a specific launch date.
The Samsung Exhibit 4G and the Samsung Gravity Smart will both be launched on June 22.
The Samsung Exhibit 4G comes with a 3.7 inch, 800 x 480 pixel AMOLED display and a 1 GHz Hummingbird processor with 512 MB RAM. It also has a 3.15 MP camera and comes with a secondary VGA camera as well. It also sports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and well, ’4G’ – HSPA+. It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and will be priced at $80 after a $50 mail-in rebate.
The Samsung Gravity Smart will have a sliding QWERTY keyboard with a 3.2 inch, 320 x 480 display. It comes with Android 2.2 Froyo and an 800 MHz processor with 512 MB RAM. It also ha a 3.15 MP camera.
It will be priced at $70 after a mail-in rebate. Both phones look quite promising, and offer a lot of value for money.
