Sprint Launches The HTC EVO 3D for $199.99

Sprint recently launched the HTC’s first 3D smartphone, the HTC EVO 3D. This handset runs on the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) Operating System and it is exclusively available to the Sprint customers in the US. The much awaited HTC EVO 3D smartphone will ship with 3D games, 3D movies and exciting apps. This handset comes with a 4.3 inch qHD display, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 5 megapixel dual cameras with 3D video recording and playback at 720p and so on.

HTC EVO 3D brings to life a visual experience that comes alive in front of the viewers’ eyes and offers crisp, clear pictures on the large display that showcases yet another new innovation from Sprint; and HTC EVO View 4G combines a wonderful tablet experience with the ability to use the optional HTC Scribe digital pen to take notes on web pages, e-books, PDF documents and more, in an easy and natural way,said Fared Adib, vice president Product Development, Sprint. HTC EVO 3D comes with a 4.3 inch 3D QHD display, 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor, Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) Operating System, 5 megapixel dual cameras, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera for video chat, 2D video recording at 1080p, 3D video recording at 720p, HDMI, DLNA, Stereo Bluetooth and so on.

Other features include a 3.5mm stereo headset jack, 3G/4G capability, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4GB Internal memory, 1GB RAM, microSD card slot, 32GB expandable memory, 8GB microSD card included, 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot capability, Integrated GPS and a 1730 mAh Lithium-ion battery.

HTC EVO 3D will ship with the blockbuster movie -The Green Hornet 3D, HTC’s Watch movie application, Blockbuster On Demand mobile app, Ultimate Spider-Man: Total Mayhem 3D (demo version) and much more.
