Sony Ericsson just announced the Xperia Pro Slider at their on-going event in MWC 2011. The Xperia Pro slider sports a 3.7-inch Bravia Engine powered display with a resolution of 854×480. The handset also packs a four-row slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
The handset will be powered by a 1Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and the graphics department will be handled by the Adreno 205 graphics core.
The back of the phone sports an 8MP Exmor R camera with an LED flash which is capable of recording videos in HD (1080p) resolution. The front of the handset sports a 2MP camera for all your video calling needs. The handset also sports the usual Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, microUSB port, 3.5 mm audio jack and a mini-HDMI port.
The handset runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Sony Ericsson’s custom UI on top of it. The handset will be available in silver, red and black colors when launched. The handset will be launched in selected markets by the end of Q2.
