Sony Ericsson announced their latest business phone in the market, Aspen. Sony Ericsson Aspen comes bundled with the latest WinMo 6.5.3 . Aspen also belongs under the GreenHeart banner of Eco friendly phones by Sony Ericsson. Leaked pictures of Aspen were all over internet few weeks ago and now it is official. This is the first business phone by Sony Ericsson after the P1i, which was released a long time ago.
Sony Ericsson Aspen is a bar-shaped phone along with a QWERTY keyboard. Being a Windows phone, Aspen has the panel UI just like in the X1 and X2. Aspen will have a 2.4inch TFT touch screen, with QVGA resolution. Aspen also has top notch quad-band connectivity. Aspen will be available in two versions, 900/2100 MHz and 850/900/2100 MHz.
Aspen will be supporting Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mini USB, 3.5mm slot and micro SD card support, and a 4 GB card will come bundled with the phone. The camera will have a 3.2 MP resolution with Fixed-Focus. Sony Ericsson Aspen will be available in Q2 of 2010. The price of the phone has not been disclosed.
Sony Ericsson Aspen is the revival of the business phone line up from Sony Ericsson. After the failure of their Symbian UIQ packed business phone, they have turned to WinMo. Aspen will be available in Iconic Black and White Silver.
