Sony Announces The Stylish And Durable Xperia Go Smartphone

Along with the Sony Xperia Acro S, Sony Mobile Communications has also launched the mid-range Sony Xperia Go smartphone. It is also a water resistant, scratch resistant and dust proof smartphone. However, this device is designed for budget conscious consumers and it won’t burn a hole in their pocket. Sadly, this handset does not come with a front-facing camera for video calls.

All the Sony branded smartphones launched in this year are shipped with the old Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) Operating System and the Sony Xperia Go is no exception. It will get the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update during the third quarter of 2012. Check out the complete specs after the break.
