
Verizon Wireless and Samsung recently launched the entry level messaging phone, the Samsung Zeal. This handset features a unique, flip-style format with an E Ink technology that changes the layout of the keyboard based on the user’s needs. Samsung Zeal shows a traditional numeric keypad, when you open it vertically as a flip phone. In landscape mode, the phone features a QWERTY keypad that can change to numeric with symbols.
Samsung Zeal features a 2.0 megapixel camera with auto focus, Bluetooth technology with support for headset, GPRS/EDGE, Corporate Email support for Microsoft Office Exchange, Social Beat Widget, VZ Navigator, Skype mobile, microSD card slot, 32 GB expandable memory, location-based services, Personal organizer with calendar, calculator, notepad, alarm clock, world clock, stop watch and so on.
Samsung Zeal comes with a price tag of $79.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement. Customers will receive the rebate in the form of a debit card.
