Samsung To Unveil The “Newest Galaxy” On August 15th

It looks like Samsung is not content with the Galaxy S III setting the sales chart on fire. The Korean giant managed to sell more than 6 million Galaxy S3’s in the previous quarter, and is on track to sell more than 10 million units in the on-going quarter. With HTC and LG not able to compete with the Galaxy S3, Samsung definitely is ruling the Android ecosystem, sales wise.

The company now aims to take things to the next level by unveiling the “newest Galaxy device” on August 15th. As of now, it is anyone’s guess as to what Samsung will be unveiling, but there is a strong possibility of the company announcing the Galaxy Note 2.

Rumors indicate that the Galaxy Note 2 will sport a 5.5-inch 720p Super-AMOLED HD+ display and will be powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos SoC along with an ARM-Mali400MP4 GPU.
