Samsung Puts A Pause On Android 2.2 For the Galaxy S

Just as Google released Android 2.3, Samsung put a temporary suspension on the upgrading of their Galaxy S devices. For the past few weeks, users have been complaining about inoperable devices after updating to FroYo, and now Samsung Canada has officially acknowledged the problem via their Facebook wall. The word is that they are investigating the reported issues and In the interim, we are taking the extra precaution of temporarily suspending the upgrade.
