Samsung launches 3 New Phones Gravity T, Gravity 3 and Smiley

Samsung has launched three new handsets the Gravity T, Gravity 3 and the Smiley. All of them have been released with T-Mobile US. These new kids on the block definitely have a lot in common, all of them have QWERTY keyboards, making messaging a breeze. These products are not aimed at the higher end of the market, rather targeting the mid-ranged customer.

The Gravity T and Gravity 3 have the usual 3G connectivity, 2-MP camera, music player, GPS, Blue-tooth and other features including a QWERTY keyboard. While the Gravity 3 ships with a standard numeric keypad, the Gravity T comes with a 2.8touchscreen.

The Smiley is a basic entry-level handset having a vertical sliding QWERTY keyboard. It has the same features as the other two, barring the 1.3 MP camera and also without the touchscreen. T-Mobile is offering the Smiley at a price tag of $19.99, Gravity 3 at $49.99 and the Gravity T at $74.99.

With all the buzz generated by the latest Android powered smart-phones and the Apple iPhone 4, its refreshing to see a few handsets doing exactly what a handset is meant to do messaging and calling.
