Samsung Launches Corby In India Just For Rs.9600

Samsung Electronics Co.Ltd, the Indian subsidiary of South Korean consumer durable major Samsung, today launched its brand new mobile handset named Corby. Samsung Corby is designed to meet the needs of style-conscious  youngsters.

According to B.D.Park, Director-Telecom, Samsung India Electronics Pvt Ltd,

“Samsung leads the market globally for full screen touch and recognizes the importance of social networking sites in modern mobile industry. Samsung Corby meets the needs of the highly connected and style-conscious youth audience.”

Samsung Corby features a 2.8-inch QVGA TFT LCD touchscreen with 262K of color. The 2 megapixel camera with a CMOS sensor is able to capture all those special moments. Along with the 960mAh battery, the Corby also incorporates various value added features like Pop-Up SNS, fashion jacket, Cartoon UI, One Finger zoom, dictionary and Smart Unlock.

The device supports various video file formats like H.263, MPEG4 and WMV along with audio file formats like Poly 64, SP-Midi, i-melody, MP3, AAC, AAC+ and WMA. Measuring 103mm x 56.5mm x 12.0mm, this handset weighs only 93 grams. The handset supports EDGE/GPRS and Quad Band networks.

Samsung Corby is available in bold color options such as Jamaican Yellow, Cupid Pink, Minimal White and Festival Orange. Samsung Corby is definitely one of the coolest handset available in India. This handset is priced at just Rs.9,600
