Samsung Haven Launched On Verizon

Samsung Electronics and Verizon Wireless recently announced the launch of a clamshell device, Samsung Haven, exclusively for the US market. There is nothing great about this phone but it has already received the prestigious Good Housekeeping Seal. Have a look at the features of this device below.

Samsung Haven has a 2.2 inch display, messaging capabilities, one touch access, dedicated keys, voicemail, voice commands, calculator with currency converter, speaker phone, In Case of Emergency (ICE), Calendar and scheduling assistant, polyphonic ringtones, world clock, stop watch, full menu readout, well-being and health tools, medical information application and much more.

This phone is available only in charcoal grey color. Haven is currently available for order on the Verizon’s site and it comes with a price tag of $39.99 with a two-year contract agreement. This handset will be available from July 29.

  1. To create shortcut number dial’s , follow below steps:
    1. On home screen, tap Menu > Contacts > Speed Dials
    2. Press the Navigation Key to highlight a speed dial, then tap Assign
    3. In the “ASSIGN NUMBER” screen, use the Navigation Key to highlight an option from the following, then touch OK.
    From Contacts: Select a contact, then highlight a phone number by pressing the Navigation Key. Press Assign to set the speed dial.
    Enter Number: Enter the name and phone number in the ADD CONTACT screen, then press Save to save the new contact and set the speed dial.
    4. Continue to assign speed dial entries, or press power key to return to the home screen.
    Keep in mind that only existing Contacts entry can be assigned to an available Speed Dial location. You can assign eight speed dial locations, location 1 is reserved for your voicemail.
