By on September 24th, 2012

Samsung Galaxy S III needs no introduction. It is the company’s latest flagship device, which was unveiled back in May. Within three months of its official launch, Samsung managed to sell 20 million units of this device worldwide. It seems that Galaxy S III will soon break the records of its predecessor in the next few months.

Samsung Galaxy S III was originally launched in just two colors – Polar White and Pebble Blue. Last month, the manufacturer unveiled 4 new color options – Amber Brown, Garnet Red, Sapphire Black and Titanium Grey. Samsung recently announced a new color specially targeted at the female smartphone users. You guessed it right! Samsung Galaxy S III will be soon available in Pink color. Thankfully, there are no changes in the specs of this device.

Pink Samsung Galaxy S III comes with the usual 4.8 inch Super-AMOLED HD display, 1.4 GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS, TouchWiz 4.0 user interface, 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, 3G Connectivity, 16 GB internal memory, DLNA, HDMI out, Bluetooth 4.0 with EDR, up to 590 hrs of stand-by time, up to 11 hrs 40 mins of talk-time and a 2100 mAh Lithium-ion battery.

This handset will be shipped with the old Android 4.0 OS, however the manufacturer has already started rolling out the latest Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) update. So, you won’t have to wait longer for updating your device to Jelly Bean. Pink Galaxy S III will be available starting this week in Korea. Samsung has not yet announced the availability of this variant in other countries.
