Samsung Galaxy S II needs no introduction. This handset is the successor of the highly popular Samsung Galaxy S smartphone. It is also one of the fastest and the thinnest Android smartphone. Samsung Galaxy S II runs on the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) Operating System. Samsung has already managed to sell more than 3 million units of this powerful smartphone in just 55 days. This handset is available in most of the European and Asian markets, but the customers in the US are still left behind.

Three UK is currently rolling out a new software update for the Samsung Galaxy S II. The company has recently tweeted about this software update, but they have not yet released the official changelog. You cannot update your device using the Samsung Kies desktop software, since it is available only via. Over-The-Air.

There are no major changes in this update. This software update is expected come with minor fixes and improvements. To get this update on your Samsung Galaxy s II smartphone, go to Settings > My Phone > Check for Update. You might have to wait for few days, before the update reaches your handset.
