Samsung had first unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S 2 II at the Mobile World Congress in 2011. This is why, as we get closer to MWC 2012, speculation that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S 3 III there is reaching a fever pitch. MWC 2012 is scheduled to start on February 27, 2012.
Rumors suggest that Samsung will announce the Galaxy S 3 at MWC 2012, and will launch it in Q2 2012, following the launch pattern of the Galaxy S and the Galaxy S 2.
The Samsung Galaxy S 3 III will supposedly be powered by a quad core Exynos processor and 2 GB of RAM. It will likely sport a 4.7 inch HD SuperAMOLED Plus display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, with a new version of TouchWiz, and will come with a 12 MP camera.
Apparently, Samsung is also working to launch a 3D Android smartphone. It wants to add not only a 3D display, but also 3D photo and video recording capabilities to its 3D smartphone, which will probably be a part of the Galaxy family.
Going by the success of the Galaxy S and the Galaxy S 2 II, the Galaxy S 3 III is surely going to be an awesome device. It just might turn out to be the best Android device of 2012.
