Good news for all Samsung Epic 4G owners and modders! Samsung has released the source code of the Epic 4G, which is greatly going to help the modding community in cooking Custom ROM for the handset. The Samsung Epic 4G is the 3rd handset to hit the U.S in the Galaxy S series from Samsung. The first two being the Samsung T-Mobile Vibrant and the AT&T Captivate. The fourth and in all probability the final addition to the Galaxy S series will be the Verizon Fascinate.

It is mandatory for every manufacturer to release the source code of every Android handset they release except for their customizations. This open source code will greatly help the developers in modifying and pushing the Epic 4G’s hardware to its limit. Interested users can download the source code from here.
