Samsung Craft, The World’s First 4G LTE Handset Gets Official

Samsung and MetroPCS together launched the world’s first 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) handset, the Samsung Craft. It features a 3.3 inch AMOLED touchscreen display, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, 3.2 megapixel camera and so on. The 4G wireless broadband service offered by MetroPCS is prepaid and it doesn’t require a contract. For only $55 a month, users will get unlimited text, talk and data.

Samsung Craft comes with a 3.3 inch AMOLED touchscreen display with 480 × 800 pixels resolution, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, TouchWiz UI, multi-mode CDMA and LTE connectivity, 3.2 megapixel camera with flash, auto focus and video recording, 165MB internal memory, 2GB microSD card included, 32GB expandable memory, full HTML browser, WiFi, Bluetooth, up to 6 hours talk time, 1500mAh battery and much more.

Samsung Craft is available for $299 after a $50 instant rebate. You can purchase this handset online or at the retail stores in Las Vegas. MetroPCS is currently offering two unlimited plans, priced at $55 and $60 a month. The premium plan offers 14 television channels in addition to unlimited text, talk and data at just $60 a month.
