Samsung Corby II Goes Official!
Yesterday, along with the Samsung Galaxy Pro, Samsung also announced the successor to the highly successful Corby the Corby II.
The Corby II sports a 3.14-inch touchscreen display and has a completely new design. The handset also features Wi-Fi b/g/n, Accelerometer, quad-band GSM/EDGE support (No 3G, Sadly), Bluetooth 3.0, FM Radio, microSD card slot and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The phone runs on Samsung’s custom UI TouchWIZ and also features Microsoft Exchange support. The back of the phone houses a disappointing 2MP fixed-focus camera. The Corby II will be powered by a 1000mAh battery which is quoted at a talk time of 9.5 hours!
Corby II will also feature the QuickType’ keyboard from Samsung, which is similar to the popular Swype’ keyboard. It will be available in White, Pink and Yellow.
The Corby II will hit the retail stores of Germany by the end of March, followed by Europe, Asia, China, India and Africa. Samsung did not mention anything about the pricing of the handset.
