Samsung Bada is a mobile operating system being developed by Samsung Electronics. It is designed for use in smartphones. Its name is derived from the Korean word for ocean. The first mobile phone handsets based on bada are expected to be displayed in the first half of 2010 and to go on sale in the second half of 2010. Samsung also plans to open a bada application store.
