O2 Branded Dell Streak Android 2.2 Update Rolling Out Now
By on December 15th, 2010

Last month, Dell started rolling out the Android 2.2 update for its tablet-cum-handset crossover the Streak. However, Dell was rolling out the update for only un-branded Streak handsets at that time. Now, Streak owners in the UK who own an O2 branded Streak will get their share of Froyo love starting from today.

  • Native Microsoft Exchange Support
  • Pre-loaded Swype keyboard app
  • New Dell Stage user interface
  • Backup & Restore app
  • Numerous system optimisations and updates

The update will be rolled out in OTA form in batches to all the Streak handsets. Dell Streak owners can read about the Android 2.2 update here.
