Nokia X6 Firmware Updated To Version 21.0.004

Nokia released a new firmware update for its popular music phone, the Nokia X6. The new version 21.0.004 can be easily downloaded from Nokia Software Update or via Over The Air (OTA). It is recommended to backup your data before updating the device. The new firmware update comes with a wide range of fixes and improvements. Check out the complete changelog below.

  • Kinetic scrolling in Appshell improved Menu grid added.
  • Browser update to 7.2.
  • Rihanna service launcher.
  • Quick Office v4.2.
  • OVI Music.
  • OVI Sync 2.0.
  • OVI store 1.5.6.
  • OVI contacts 1.50.8.
  • Gimlet Touch 2.2.
  • Flash Video Phase-3 Flashlite 3.1.7.x.
  • Shazam.
  • Enable Side lock Key functionality during Swipe UI (Calendar/Clock alarm).
  • Windows 7 Device Stage Support.

This firmware update is currently not be available for all product code. You may have to wait for few days or even for few weeks. Let us know if you find any other changes after the update.

    Hi,
    I updated my phone’s firmware but I don’t recognize any changes!
    except it shows me that the phone uses the version 20.0.004

    ???

    one more thing..

    nokia x6 speakers SUCKS…

    I owned nokia n95 8gb, its speakers are better than x6

    more quality, louder,….
