Nokia N97 Mini vs Nokia N900
Alright, lets get few things straight. Now that Nokia has already launched Nokia N97 mini and Nokia N900 and few lucky people at Nokia world 09 already checking them out, I wonder why would anyone buy a Nokia N97 device.
As you know Nokia N97 mini is a Symbian based phone, whereas Nokia N900 is a maemo linux based tablet phone.
Comparison between Nokia N97 mini and Nokia N900:
| Features | Nokia N97 | Nokia N900 |
| Resolution |
360 x 640 pixels |
800 × 480 |
| Display | 3.2 inch | 3.5 inch |
| OS |
OS |
Maemo |
| Camera | Up to 5 megapixels (2584 x 1938) | 5 megapixel camera (2584 × 1938 pixels) |
| Camera properties | Lens: Carl Zeiss Tessar, Dual LED flash | CMOS sensor, Carl Zeiss optics, Tessar lens, Dual LED flash |
| Price | 450 Euro | 500 Euro |
Nokia N900 offers everything and much more that Nokia N97 mini offers just for 50 Euros more. Moreover, Nokia N900 sports young and cool OS maemo whereas Nokia N97 mini still carries decade old sluggish OS; Symbian.
Though, Nokia presented it as social device, I wonder people will be fooled by it. Would you buy Nokia N97 mini or Nokia N900? Or iPhone 3GS?

If I have that kind of money! I would definitely go for Nokia N900 as compared to Nokia N97 Mini or iPhone 3GS. Its Maemo Interface looks simply amazing.
