Nokia N9 PR1.3 Update Brings “Over 1000 Quality Improvements”
By on July 4th, 2012

Nokia has confirmed that it has started rolling out the PR 1.3 (v40.2012.21-3) software update for its last MeeGo powered handset, the N9. The update will be rolled out in batches over the next few weeks, with the non-branded N9 variants slated to receive the update first.

At the moment it is known whether the update is a major one or not. The official change-log from Nokia reads that there are “over 1000 quality improvements including Mail, Facebook, Twitter, minor network & connectivity improvements.” The company has not really provided any more information about this update, so consider those 1000+ quality enhancements as bug-fixes rather than any actual enhancements. Like any other software update, the PR1.3 update for the N9 will also bring the general performance and stability boost.

Since Nokia has not provided much information about the update, don’t except PR1.3 to bring any new major changes or enhancements.
