Nokia today announced the Nokia N8 which will be the flagship phone for the manufacturer. Nokia N8 has a lot of improvements and is definitely hundred times better than the Nokia N97. Nokia N8 may put the company in a very good position against other smartphones, though this is just the beginning.

I have had a chance to play around with the Nokia N8 and it is pretty sleek with Ovi Maps, Social Networking Integration and also a new app for Ovi Maps called Check-in which allows you to check yourself into places on Ovi Maps just like Foursquare or Facebook.
