Nokia has just rolled out a new firmware update for the Nokia E75. In the last few weeks, Nokia has rolled out firmware updates for nearly all of its popular handsets including the Nokia E63, E66, E71, E72, N86, 5230, X6 and the Nokia 5800. The new firmware update for the Nokia E75 is numbered v210.12.15. The Nokia E75 has a 2.4 inch QVGA screen and also has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
The last firmware update which the Nokia E75 got was numbered v201.12.01 and it was a pretty major update. The update included the v7.1 web-kit based web-browser, integrated QuickOffice into the device etcetera. Currently no official change log is available for the firmware update. Looking at the firmware update released for previous phones, we can safely assume that Ovi Sync application, and the latest version of Ovi Maps are included in this firmware update. It is also expected that the new firmware update will improve system performance and reliability.
Users can update the firmware of the device either by OTA (Over The Air) or by using Nokia Software Updater (NSU). It is recommended that users take a backup of their data on the device before proceeding with the firmware update.
