Nokia E75 hangs with python installed
Last week I reviewed the Nokia E75. I have since then trying many applications & games. I thought of giving a try to python to try the wordpress application Scribe on it.
Ever since then I started facing problems with hanging of phone. Though, for a few minutes the application Scribe works and then hangs to infinity. And yes i am on the latest firmware version 110.48.125
Now after installing the Python, the phone again works like a charm. I hope someone at Nokia or Python fixes the problem soon.

Please provide which version of Python you have installed on E75. Do you get (at any point) get any panic/error message while there is no response from device? If yes, please mention.
Thank you.

Thank you. I kinda figured it out earlier but wanted version confirmation from your end. Python for S60 1.4.2 is meant for S60 2nd edition and 3rd Edition devices. Hence, the “hanging” issues!
E75 is S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 device or S60 3.2 in short. That said, latest versions such as 1.9.5 and above are good enough for 3.2 devices.
Yesterday, we (work at Nokia) released 1.9.6 — https://garage.maemo.org/frs/?group_id=854
