Nokia today announced the entry level Nokia C2-02 phone with the Touch and Type technology. This handset comes with a touchscreen display as well as physical slide-out T9 keypad. This specs of this handset is basically the same compared to the recently announced Nokia C2-03 device, except the Dual-SIM functionality. Check out the complete specs below.
Mary McDowell, the head of Nokia’s Mobile Phones business unit, said: “These phones all offer a web, maps and messaging experience second to none in the market. And with the choice of a touch screen or a keypad, we really have made everything available and easy to use in an affordable phone that comes in both Dual or single SIM options.”
Nokia C2-02 features a touchscreen display with 240 x 320 pixels resolution, Series 40 User Interface, 2 megapixel camera, 3.5mm headset jack, 10 MB internal memory, microSD cardslot, 32 GB expandable memory, 2GB MicroSD card included, GPRS/EGPRS, Bluetooth v2.1 with EDR, micro USB 2.0, up to 35 hours music playback, up to 600 hours stand-by time, up to 5 hours talk-time and a 1020 mAh battery. This handset measures 103 mm x 51.4 mm x 17 mm and weighs 115 g.
Nokia C2-02 will be available in 2 colors – Chrome Black and Golden White. This handset comes with a price tag of EUR 75 (approx. $105/ Rs. 5,000). Nokia C2-02 is expected to hit the market in the third quarter of 2011.
