Nokia Announces X5-01 With Slide-Out QWERTY Keyboard
Recently at the Nokia Connections event in Singapore, Nokia launched a new handset under their Xseries range of phones. The Nokia X5-01 is a music phone that comes with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The most shocking part of this phone is its design. This ugly looking phone has some awesome features such as 3G connectivity and 5 megapixel camera with LED flash.

We never expected that Nokia will come up with such a pathetic design. This device is seriously the worst looking phone in the Xseries. Though it has some great features such as 3G Connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPRS/EDGE and 5 Megapixel camera, other features that I would like to mention are the 2.36 inch display with 320 x 240 pixels resolution, Symbian S60 v3 OS, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, 32GB expandable memory and much more.
This handset will be available in 5 exciting colors – Yellow Green, Purple, Pink, Azure and Graphite Black. Since all the Xseries phones are known for their excellent music playback, this handset is not an exception. Nokia X5-01 is said to be an excellent music device that will fulfill all your needs. Moreover it comes with dedicated music keys.

Nokia is expecting this handset to be popular among the teens, but the ugly design will surely make them stay away from this phone. Only the powerful features and the low price tag will attract the teens. This handset will be available from the Q3 2010 with a price tag of 165 Euros (approx. $200/ Rs.9000).
What do you think about the features and design of this handset? Let us know your views in the comments.

This looks like a half cut phone. But can we say it's ugly? I think this is Nokia's answer to Microsoft's Kin ( lol) . Let them marry each other :D
