Nokia Announces The Symbian Powered Astound For T-Mobile USA

Nokia recently announced the Symbian powered Nokia Astound smartphone. This handset will be exclusively available on the airwaves of T-Mobile. Nokia Astound is basically the Nokia C7 with T-Mobile branding. This handset comes with a 3.5 inch AMOLED display, 8 megapixel camera with HD (720p) video recording, front facing VGA camera for video calling, 32 GB expandable memory and more. This handset allows you to access thousands of free and paid apps from the Nokia’s Ovi Store.

Nokia C7 comes with aa 3.5 inch AMOLED touchscreen display with 360 × 640 pixels resolution, 680MHz ARM11 processor, Symbian^3 operating system, Wi-Fi, microUSB 2.0, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, 3G connectivity, 8 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash with HD (720p) video recording, 3.5 mm audio jack, Stereo FM radio, A-GPS, 256MB RAM, 1GB ROM, 8GB internal memory, microSD card slot, 32GB expandable memory, up to 27 days stand-by time, up to 9.5 hours talk time and 1200 mAh battery.

The Nokia Astound comes pre-loaded with for the entire U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. This handset also provides free voice-guided, turn-by-turn navigation in more than 100 countries. Nokia Astound will be available for purchase from April 6th. This handset comes with a price tag of $79.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate card with a two-year service agreement.
