Its raining firmware updates for Nokia phones. Just a couple of days ago, Nokia released a firmware update for the Nokia 5800. Today, Nokia has rolled out a new firmware update for the Nokia 5530. The new firmware version is
numbered v31.0.005. This firmware update is a pretty minor one and mainly aims at fixing the bugs and improving the performance of the phone.
The change-log of this firmware update is as follows :
* Browser improved
* Fixed issues with Chinese characters
* Menu improved
* Fixed Dictionary application can’t be activated by voice command
* problem solved: phone hang when listen radio
* Fixed some date & clock problems
* FOTA feature improved
Users can update the firmware of their phone either by using Nokia Software Updater (NSU) or via FOTA (Over-The-Air). The Nokia 5530 features UDP (Users Data Preservation) so users don’t need to make a backup of their data before updating the firmware of their phone.
