Nokia has released a new firmware update for its popular budget touch based smartphone the Nokia 5233. The Nokia 5233 is the 3G-less sibling of the Nokia 5230. The new firmware version is numbered V21.1.102. As of now, no official change-log is available for this firmware update. As with all firmware updates, this update should fix some bugs and improve the performance and stability of the device. ![]()
The firmware update will be rolled out in phases to various regions of the world. Users can update the firmware either by OTA (Over-The-Air) or by using Nokia Software Updater (NSU). Since the Nokia 5233 features UDP (User Data Preservation), users don’t need to make a backup of the data on their device before proceeding with the firmware update.
This post will be updated once the official change-log from Nokia is released.
