Motorola Updates Its Jelly Bean Plans Once Again
By on December 8th, 2012

A couple of months ago, Motorola had updated its Android OS update page to reflect which and when it would be bringing Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean to its devices. Now that the company has updated its high-end handsets to Jelly Bean, including the RAZR M, RAZR HD and the RAZR HD MAXX, it has once again updated the page to include an estimated timeframe for the JB update for its other handsets.

Motorola RAZR HD and ATRIX HD owners in Canada will only be getting the Android 4.1.1 update sometime in Q1 of next year. RAZR i owners in the Middle East, Africa or Europe will also be getting the Jelly Bean update around the same time.

In most other regions of the world, Motorola RAZR series owners are at the mercy of their carriers and their ‘rigorous testing’. Other Motorola handsets including the DROID 4, Electrify 2 and Photon Q will be getting the Jelly Bean update sometime next year.

Hopefully, the company will soon be announcing its Android 4.2 Jelly Bean upgrade plans and release a list of handsets that it will be updating as well.
