Motorola Debuts MOTOROI, Moto Asia’s First Android Phone

Motorola recently released MOTOROI, a Android-based phone with SK Telecom in Korea. MOTOROI is the first 2.0 based device to be released by Motorola in Asia. This phone will also be available in the North American market by March 2010.

Motorola has several Android based devices in the US markets, including the Motorola Droid. As with other devices MOTOROI will be optimized for Google services with the high speed web-browsing available in Korea. The device will contain Android 2.0 OS, however there might be future updates to Android 2.1

MOTOROI has a 8 megapixel camera with Xenon flash and a 720p HD camcorder. The phone also has a HDMI port, using which you can watch HD videos from your phone on your HDTV. In addition to that users can enjoy 24 TV and audio channels for free on the phone.

The device has a 3.7 inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 480X854, support for WiFi, Bluetooth, T-DMB. MOTOROI also has 8GB of in-built storage space which is expandable to 32GB. There is no official announcement of the price of the phone yet, you can find more info for it at the Motorola Media Center.
