By on December 7th, 2010

Motorola and Verizon are soon going to roll out a new software update for the Droid X. The new software update version number is 2.3.340 and is a pretty major one. The update will include Madden NFL football game for the Droid X. Along with this; the update will also improve the performance and stability of the device.

Other various aspects of the device like Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and Voicemail are also getting some kind of improvement.

Droid X owners can find the full change-log below-:

Hopefully, this update will resolve most of the issues Droid X owners had with the handset after the Android 2.2 update. However, Motorola and Verizon have not mentioned when the update will roll out to all Droid X owners. Hopefully, the update will roll out by the end of this year.
