Earlier today, Verizon and Motorola unveiled the Droid X which is the latest Android device from Motorola. Droid X is so far one of the best Android device by Motorola and has some really awesome specifications.
Droid X will be available in store on July 15th and will be sold at $199.99 after a $100 rebate. Users will also have to purchase a smartphone data plan which is $29.99. If you want to turn your device into a Mobile Hotspot using tethering you will have to pay $20 more to connect to 5 devices via WiFi.
Motorola Droid X has a huge 4.3-inch TFT display, with WVGA resolution. The phone is powered by a 1Ghz OMAP processor, and 512MB of RAM. Droid X also has 8GB of memory along with a 16GB SD card bundled with the device.
You can record videos at 720p resolution and also watch it on TV using the mini HDMI port. Droid X also has a 1540mAh battery. Droid X also has three microphones one for video, another one for calls, and the last one for noise cancellation.
The biggest problem though is that Droid X will release with Android 2.1, however, Android 2.2 Froyo will be released for the device sometime this summer.
