Motorola Droid Bionic Tastes Its First Android 4.0 Firmware Leak
By on June 21st, 2012

Up until now, Motorola Droid RAZR owners have got a taste of Ice Cream Sandwich thanks to quite a few leaked ICS firmware. Owners of the fatter sibling of the RAZR, the Droid Bionic, patiently waited for their turn and silently regretted purchasing the Bionic.

Anyways, someone over at Motorola has finally rewarded the Droid Bionic owners with an Ice Cream Sandwich firmware leak for their handset. Early flashers of the build report the performance of the ROM to be “buttery smooth”. Apart from this, the ICS build looks pretty similar to the early Droid RAZR leaks. The leaked firmware might not be the final ICS update for Bionic owners, but it is pretty darn close. Motorola, unlike Samsung, has also kept ICS relatively Blur-free, except for some colored icons.

There is a strong possibility that Motorola will start rolling out the Ice Cream Sandwich update for Droid RAZR/RAZR MAXX owners on June 27th. Droid Bionic owners should expect to get their fair share of Ice Cream Sandwichlove soon after.
