By on October 19th, 2010

Remember the Droid 2 Global? Well Verizon has made the device official in a very odd manner. Verizon customers who called the their helpline and were kept on hold heard the advertisement of the new Droid 2 Global. The ad only mentions that the Droid 2 Global will feature both GSM and CDMA’s antennas and will work in 221 countries. Motorola_Droid_2_Global

Yea, you read that right 221 countries! Either my geography is extremely bad or Verizon goofed up the number of countries present in this world. The Droid 2 Global is rumoured to be running on a 1.2GHz OMAP processor. The rest of the specifications of the device is similar to the Droid 2.

The device will feature the same 3.7-inch LCD screen with 854*480 resolution, 512MB of RAM and 5MP camera with an LED flash. The Droid 2 Global is also expected to be available in the white color.
