Recently Motorola announced that their first Android based phone – Motorola Cliq will be available to T-Mobile customers on October 19 and to everybody else on November 2. T-Mobile USA said on Tuesday that it would start selling Motorola Inc’s Cliq phone for $199.99 starting Oct. 19. The Motorola Cliq will cost $199.99 with a two-year contract, T-Mobile said. Buyers who aren’t already T-Mobile customers will have to wait until Nov. 2.

Motorola Cliq will have a slide-out QWERTY keyboard as well as a touchscreen. It will come with Wi-Fi as well as 3G connectivity, a 5-megapixel camera that can shoot video at 24 frames per second and a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.
With the CLIQ, Motorola would also debut its application called MotoBlur which allows users to synchronise their contacts, posts, feeds, messages, e-mails and photos from sources as diverse as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Gmail, corporate e-mail and have them appear on the device’s screen.
If you pre-order the device from Oct. 19 to Nov. 1, you’ll be guaranteed to receive it first. T-Mobile also says that their voice plans start at $30 a month, with the accompanying data plan costing another $25 a month.
