The Droid X handset from Motorola has been a U.S. exclusive until now. Today, the company announced the Motoroi X which will soon be launched in Mexico. The Motoroi X is a renamed Droid X. The Droid X…err…Motoroi X sports a 4.3-inch screen with a resolution of 854×480. The phone is powered by a 1GHz OMAP processor and packs 512MB of RAM. ![]()
The back of the phone sports an 8MP camera with dual-LED flash which is capable of recording videos in 720p HD resolution. The phone also sports a micro-HDMI port, GPS with A-GPS, 3G hotspot, microSD card slot and DLNA. The Motoroi X runs Android 2.2 with MOTOBLUR UI on top of it. Flash 10.1 is also pre-installed on the phone.
The Motoroi X will hit Mexico before the end of this year. Sadly, Motorola did not mention the pricing of the handset. Readers can read the full press release here.
