They haven’t specifically stated that they will be launching Windows Phone 7 at the press conference, but there isn’t any other major reason to call one.

The timeline matches up with the earlier rumors that Microsoft will launch Windows Phone 7 in October.

The US launch of Windows Phone 7 will reportedly happen on November 8.
