Earlier this year, LG announced its first 3D smartphone, the LG Optimus 3G. The LG Thrill 4G is the AT&T’s version of LG Optimus 3D smartphone. This handset currently runs on the old Android 2.2 (Froyo) Operating System, but it will be soon upgraded to the new Android 2.3 OS. This handset allows you to record HD (720p) videos in 3D and full HD (1080p) videos in 2G. We have already posted that LG Thrill 4G will be available for the AT&T customers during the Q3 of 2011.
We have a good news for the AT&T customers, who were eagerly waiting to get their hands on this amazing 3D smartphone. AT&T recently tweeted from their official Twitter account that, the much-awaited LG Thrill 4G will be finally available for purchase from September 4.
LG Thrill 4G comes with a 4.3 inch capacitive touchscreen display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution, 1 GHz dual-core/dual-channel processor, Android 2.2 OS (upgradeable to Android 2.3), Glasses-free 3D, Wi-Fi Connectivity, 5 megapixel dual-lens camera, Full HD (1080p) video recording and playback in 2D, HD (720p) video recording and playback in 3D, etc.
Other features includes a 3.5mm headset jack, FM radio, Multimedia player, 4G Connectivity, Android Market, 8 GB internal memory, MicroSd card slot, 8 GB microSD card bundled, 32 GB expandable memory, HSPA+, HDMI 1.4, DLNA connectivity and a 1500 mAh battery.
This handset allows you to directly upload your 3D videos to the YouTube 3D channel from your handset. The LG Thrill 4G will be available from September 4 for just $99.99 with a 2 year service agreement.
