LG’s Optimus One Android handset has been one of the most popular budget Android devices in recent history. It is the LG’s bestselling handset and set a new sales record by selling 1 million phones in 40 days after launch.
Now, it has also crossed another milestone. LG just sold its Optimus One #2,000,000 in just 25 days after the first milestone, which makes it a total of 2 million phones in just 65 days.
It is one of the cheapest Android smartphones running Android 2.2 Froyo and will also be upgraded to Android 2.3 Gingerbread. This makes it one of the few phones slated to receive the update, and the cheapest phone which has been confirmed to run Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
