LG Electronics has recently unveiled the specifications list of its GW525 handset on the LG Mobile Developer Network’s Website with some excellent features. LG Mobile Developer’s website is reportedly aimed at the North and South American markets.

“The GW525 is a quad-band 3GSM slide phone that offers push social networking updates allowing consumers to receive alerts from multiple social network sites as they are posted. It features HSDPA connectivity up to 7.2 Mbps, 2.8 inch touchscreen display, full slide out QWERTY keyboard, 3.2 megapixel digital camera, stereo FM radio, music player and video player,” the company says about this handset.

LG GW525 is a full touchscreen phone with slide out QWERTY keyboard. It includes an ARM9 processor and supports data transmission through 3G, EDGE, UMTS and HSDPA. It also comes with a 2.8-inch TFT LCD touchscreen display, 256 MB internal memory, expandable upto 8 GB, 128 MB RAM and 3 mega-pixel camera.

Other features include Bluetooth 2.1, PC Sync capabilities, Email support, Flash Lite 3.0, multimedia player, image viewer and FM Radio. The price of this handset is not yet announced. It is expected to launch first in North American and South American markets, after that it will enter European and other markets.
