Intex Cloud FX, the first Firefox OS phone in India, is India’s lowest priced Smartphone at ₹1,999

In a press conference in New Delhi today, Intex Technologies announced the launch of India’s lowest priced smartphone, the Intex Cloud FX. The smartphone runs on Firefox OS, and is the first Firefox OS device available in India and Asia, beating the upcoming Spice Fire One launch.


Cloud FX is a dual SIM smartphone, powered by a 1.0 GHz processor and 128MB of RAM. While the internal storage is a modest 256MB, it’s expandable up to 4GB with a microSD card. The device supports several languages like English, Hindi, and Tamil.

The launch of Intex Cloud FX marks the beginning of a new era of the Indian smartphone market and Intex is proud to be the first Indian company to understand and deliver on market needs.
