Huawei will soon launch a new Android powered smartphone, the Ascend P2. As the name suggest, this handset is the successor of the last year’s Huawei Ascend P1. The guys at UnwiredView recently shared the leaked press shot and specs of this device. Similar to its predecessor, the Huawei Ascend P2 is expected to come with a thin waistline.
The Huawei Ascend P2 might run on the Android 4.1 or 4.2 (Jelly Bean) Operating System. This handset is expected to come with a 1.8 GHz quad-core processor. This handset is likely to be announced next month at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2013 in Barcelona. Check out the leaked specs below.
The Huawei Ascend P2 features a 4.5 inch display, Quad-core processor, 13 megapixel rear-facing camera with Full HD (1080p) video recording and playback, 2 GB of RAM, MicroSD card slot, 3000 mAh battery and the usual connectivity options including Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, NFC, GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA and more.
Huawei has already sent the invitations of its press event at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The Huawei Ascend P2 is expected to be unveiled at the same press conference on February 24, 2013. Stay tuned!
