HTC Ville Pics And Specs Leaked

Earlier this month, we posted the leaked image of the HTC’s upcoming smartphone, the HTC Ville. Now, the guys at PocketNow recently shared a brand new render of the HTC Ville smartphone. This handset will run on the latest Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) Operating System. HTC Ville is rumored to be the company’s thinnest smartphone, featuring a metal unibody design, with a thickness of just 8.49mm.

HTC Ville is also the company’s first device which run on the Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon S4 processor. This handset is expected to be announced next year during mid-February at the Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona.

HTC Ville Leaked Specifications:

  • 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display
  • 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 (MSM8960)
  • Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS
  • HTC Sense UI 4.0
  • 8 megapixel backside-illuminated camera
  • Full HD (1080p) video recording and playback
  • Beats Audio
  • Metal construction case
  • No NFC support
  • 8.49mm thick
  • 1650 mAh battery

HTC Ville is even slimmer than the iPhone 4S and Samsung Galaxy S II, which measures 9.3mm and 9.91mm thick respectively. This handset will be announced at MWC 2012 and the device will be available for purchase from April 2012. HTC Ville is expected to be available with major wireless carriers in the US, including AT&T, Verizon and Sprint.
