HTC has recently launched their much awaited Windows Mobile 6.5 enabled touchscreen phone in India on Reliance GSM network. HTC Touch2 is the first Windows Mobile 6.5 enabled touchscreen phone in India. This stylish phone comes with six month of free data usage at 200MB usage per month.
HTC Touch2 includes all the new features of Windows Mobile 6.5 such as a revamped Internet Explorer mobile with flash support, my phone backup service, Microsoft Exchange support and Windows Marketplace for mobile.

This handset comes with 256MB of RAM and 512MB ROM. It runs on the 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 CPU. It also has a 2.8TFT LCD screen and 3.2 megapixel camera. It includes an internal GPS antenna which is good for mapping locations of the pictures clicked from this handset. HTC Touch2 doesn’t have the accelerometer.
Other features includes Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi and 3G. It has a 1100 mAh battery that offers only seven and half hour of talktime on 2G and six hours of talktime on 3G. It supports pocket office which can be used to view Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and PDF documents.
HTC Touch2 is priced at Rs. 24,490 for Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh due to hike in VAT (Value Added Tax). It will be available for Rs. 22,490 in rest of India.
