The new flagship Android phone by HTC – the HTC Saga – was leaked before in a subway in Taipei. It is likely to be the successor to the HTC Desire, and looks very similar to it. It has a unibody design, just like the HTC 7 Mozart and the HTC Legend.
No specifics about the HTC Saga are out yet, but it is expected to sport the latest smartphone hardware, so you can probably expect a dual core processor, 1 GB RAM, and a display bigger than 4 inches. The leaked device runs Android 2.2.1 Froyo, but will likely get an upgrade to Android 2.3 Gingerbread by the time it releases. It also has the HTC Sense UI. It should also have an 8 MP camera and seems to have LED flash support.
It should be launched officially at the Mobile World Congress, with scores of other Android superphones like the Samsung Galaxy S 2. Stay tuned for more MWC coverage, here at Techie-Buzz.
