HTC has just announced a phone for all the female Droid lovers, the HTC Rhyme. The Rhyme is a mid-range Android phone, which runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, with Sense UI 3.5 on top of it.
For the female geeks out there, the Rhyme packs in a 1GHz MSM8255 processor, and an Adreno 205 GPU. The phone also has 768MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage. The 3.7-inch S-LCD screen has a WVGA (480×800) resolution.
The back of the phone sports a 5MP camera and an LED flash, with a VGA camera in the front accompanying it. Like the majority of Droids out there, the Rhyme is also capable of recording videos in 720p HD resolution.
The Rhyme comes with some interesting accessories to charm the ladies out there. The retail box comes with a docking station, an armband, a Bluetooth headset, and a Charm Cable. The Charm Cable has a small cube attached to it, which blinks when the user receives a new incoming calls and/or messages.
The Rhyme will release in lavender color, with many other colored variants being released soon.
The HTC Rhyme will be first available under the Verizon’s network in the U.S.A, with the launch in Asian and European markets following it.
