HTC Droid Incredible 2 Specs Leaked; Features Wireless Charing And Dual-Xenon Flash!
By on March 20th, 2011

HTC announced the Incredible S at the MWC 2011. The phone is the European successor of the Verizon branded Droid Incredible.

Now, thanks to a tipster the folks over at Droid-Life have got their hands on the specs of the Verizon branded Incredible S the Incredible 2. Like the Incredible S, the 2 will be powered by a 1GHz MSM8255 Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm, and pack 768MB of RAM.

The phone will also sport a 4-inch WVGA (800×480) display. The Incredible 2 will feature dual-microphones for noise cancellation, and will have support for global roaming as well.

Well, these are a pretty much run-of-mill specs with nothing special. In this age of dual-core processors and 1GB of RAM, the Incredible 2 does not offer anything special.

However, some out-of-the-box features of the Incredible 2 include wireless charging, a dedicated TI Audio chip with SRS surround and an 8MP camera at the back with dual-Xenon Flash! Yes, dual-Xenon Flash!

HTC sure has made up for the lack of a dual-core processor with wireless charging and dual-Xenon Flash! It is unknown as to whether the handset sports a front-facing camera or not.

The Droid Incredible 2 will not support Verizon’s 4G LTE network. In all probability, the Incredible 2 will hopefully be announced by HTC and Verizon in the next couple of weeks.

GOOD GRIEF!!! Why in the name of all that is Holy, would they make this phone and not make it available on the 4G LTE network? It seems to be the only phone coming out that is not the size of an iPad for heaven’s sake and they don’t put it on the fastest network… great idea!

Im actually hoping that leak is fake. Primarily for the TFT screen. The incredible S boasts the SLCD display, which beats a TFT by a long shot. as for the 3G, im happy about it. i would much rather have a device that doesnt require me walking around with a couple of extra batteries in my pocket. im just really hoping for a SLCD, that would be something that would break the deal for me.
